What should we wear for our photography session in London with a family photographer in London?

Depending on the time of year some things to consider would be if it’s an autumn winter shoot. Make sure your children are dressed appropriately and wrapped up warm especially if it’s going to be an outside session. As a South London family photographer, I advise families to think about not clashing colours. For example, if your child is wearing pink I would recommend as a parent wearing blues, pink, and white instead of red or orange. Another tip would be to think about mixing plain colours with patterns as plain colours can sometimes look uninteresting. One final tip on clothes, wear what makes you feel comfortable! You don’t have to wear a suit and tie or a formal dress, whatever your style is embrace it and be yourself.

How do we choose the location for the photos with a London photographer?

It’s completely up to you, as a southwest London-based photographer I love travelling. I am happy to do a shoot in the comfort of your home or happy to suggest outdoor location ideas. As a London photographer, natural light is always best, so if you would like more natural-looking photos consider an outside shoot. How much does it cost and how long does it last?

This depends on how many hours of photography you are looking at, a typical session for me would be 1-2 hours. This can also depend on how long your Child’s attention span lasts. I do love these sessions and love suggesting different places within the location we have chosen and love getting creative to create memories for you and your family to enjoy. Definitely! Engagement sessions are a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day, and they make beautiful save-the-date or home décor pieces. They can be added to any wedding package or booked separately.

First, get in touch to check my availability for your date. We’ll arrange a call or meet for coffee to discuss your plans and make sure we’re the right fit. If you’d like to proceed, I’ll send over a contract and invoice. Once you’ve signed the contract and paid the booking deposit, your date is secured!
