London Photographer at the Dorchester Hotel

Recently, I got the chance to be the London photographer at an event at the Dorchester Hotel in Park Lane. The Dorchester Hotel is based in Mayfair and looks out onto Hyde Park. The room was designed by Oliver Messel which is located on the 8th floor and is called the Pavilion and Penthouse suite.

The Dorchester Hotel in London is one of a collection located all over the world, including France, Italy, the USA and Japan.

As a London photographer at the Dorchester Hotel, the room has a stunning balcony which allows guests to enjoy the sunshine with a drink in the summer. The balcony has a lovely water feature in the middle with a backdrop of London’s famous landmarks like the walkie talky and the London Eye.

What else is there to love about the Dorchester Hotel?

To conclude, there is also an intimate room just off the reception room this is where guests can enjoy a sit-down meal. After the main event of speeches, there are a few options where to have cake or afternoon tea. There is also the reception room and of course, I can’t forget about that balcony, overlooking London, especially in the summer.

The Dorchester Hotel is a perfect location, in the centre of London. There is also Hyde Park, which is next door to the streets of Mayfair, followed by great transport links nearby.

My Documentary Wedding Photography Approach

I believe the best wedding photographs are the ones you don’t have to pose for. My documentary style means I’m capturing genuine moments as they happen—the tears during the ceremony, the laughter during speeches, the joy on the dance floor, and all the quiet, intimate moments in between.

On your wedding day, you’ll barely notice I’m there. I blend into the background, allowing you to be fully present with your partner, family, and friends. But when you receive your photos, you’ll see your day through my lens: every emotion, every detail, every beautiful moment preserved.

What’s Included:

  • Full-day documentary coverage (typically 8-10 hours)
  • Pre-wedding consultation to discuss your day and vision
  • Beautifully edited high-resolution images
  • Online gallery for easy viewing and sharing
  • Option to add albums, prints, and engagement sessions
